#  Global Health, Biodiversity, and New Medicine Seminar, August 20, 2024

 The 2024 seminar "Global Health, Biodiversity, and New Medicines,” will take place on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST at the University of Costa Rica in San José, Costa Rica. This will be a hybrid event, in person and virtually via Zoom.

 The seminar is organized by Prof. Donald Pfister, former director of the Harvard Herbarium and curator of the Farlow Library and Herbarium, Dr. Veronica Vargas, a Research Associate at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, Germán Madrigal, Director of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Gustavo Carazo, Director of the Industrial Department, both at the University of Costa Rica.
